Kitty`s Cafe in Magnolia

Awesome little local place for lunch. They have a lunch special that includes entree and 2 sides. When I used to go there, they offered seconds of everything. I didn't ask this time since I'm trying to get to a healthier weight, lol. Food was great, I had chicken fried chicken, spinach & green beans. Their sweet tea will cause a case of the diabetes (lol), but I love it that way! Worth the visit!

My family and I just visited Kitty’s Cafe in Magnolia for a late breakfast. Wow! Food was amazing and portions were big. The biscuits and gravy are so tasty!! The place was quite busy; I will highlight that the service was outstanding. Our waitress, Nancy, was welcoming and patient. I want to go back and try their chicken fried chicken!!

This place was okay, I waited a little over an hour for my food and my water was refilled twice. The food was decent, but I don't know if I'd recommend this place as my first choice.

Decent country roadside cafe with a classic menu. Don't expect a quaint downtown fancy breakfast. Head to Brennan for that. Come in for a warm cup of coffee awesome homemade biscuits and a plate of eggs. Just don't expect shrimp and grits, artisan bacon, or anything fancy:Pros: - I always enjoy a nice Sunday drive out to magnolia - Opens early - Friendly service - that biscuit!! Cons: - menu options limited to standard fare - slower than some places - strip mall location

Kitty's cafe serves home made food in plentiful portions and it has the small town, everyone knows your name, feel. The waitresses make you feel welcome. I only wish they would redecorate the walls. After they painted them they left them bare and is missing a bit of the ambiance it used to have.

Home style meals so good and a lot of food

Walked out after a hour of waiting for my order. Cook doing all the quick orders first. This is not the first time. It has been quite a time since I have been back because of the same issue.

Best home cooked meal you'll ever have in your life. Such a fun family oriented atmosphere and the service is great! Mrs. Kitty is present all the time and really gives it a homey feeling. I can't think of another place that even remotely comes close to the food here. You can definitely taste the love in her food! Besides, who doesn't love Mrs. Kitty! Us Fann's sure do!

1st timer, Had their cheeseburger on a jalapeno bun with onion rings and it was great will go back to try something different

This is a real old-fashioned kind of Country Diner. Their menu reflects old fashioned Southern home cooking, the service is friendly and prompt, you seat yourself upon arrival and your server brings you the menus. This is where the locals go to eat. Everything was served hot and well seasoned. Portions are very large and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Best gravy in a 100 mile radius. We drive 40 minutes just for their biscuits and gravy. Service has also always been phenomenal. They also have a good rotation of daily specials and home cooked healthy southern meals. Price is just right.

Great food but service is horrible. It takes at least 30 minutes to even get a menu and once you order you're lucky if you get your food in under an hour

I just move to Magnolia and tried this diner for breakfast... best experience of my life. The food was delicious! And you get A LOT of food for a great price. But most importantly the waiter was so sweet and she was patient with my autistic son! She just made the experience so much better, will definitely be going back again :)

Good food nice portions

This place is one of my favorite places to go since I moved in Houston/Magnolia area. You guys do a wonderful job. Everyone is so kind.

Waitresses are great! Very comfortable and friendly. Prices are super affordable. Shared the Friday seafood special between two as recommended. The suggestion was spot on as it was a lot of food. Catfish very fluffy and tender, batter a bit heavy for my taste - friend seemed to like it though. Shrimp were huge, unfortunately not deveined. I wish I had taken pictures -- the atmosphere did not motivate me to do so. A local diamond in the rough (and I do mean rough). Might be an OTO (one time only) for this gal.

The atmosphere is great, very homey. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the bacon is warm. Pancakes are good, and the biscuits and gravy are fantastic, I would 100% recommend stopping in here for a morning breakfast if you want to sit down and enjoy a good country-style meal. My only complaint is that the scrambled eggs tend to come out a bit dry, but other than that it's my favorite place to eat in the morning.

It was great. Food really good & price is awesome!

Small town diner where there is good food and lot of locals. We had breakfast there for four straight days and tried several items. The pancakes were good and huge! I got two which was one too many. They can make Mickey Mouse pancakes for the young ones. The eggs and potatoes were well cooked. The railroad sandwich is tasty and filling. The coffee was good and strong. Good oatmeal, with all the fixings. The prices were very fair. The service was outstanding. It was all nonsmoking and maybe the only diner in town where smoking is not allowed. Miss Kitty comes out of her kitchen where she does the cooking and checks to be sure everybody is satisfied with their meal (at the end of breakfast). She is quite the character. We will return.

I have to save this place was disappointing. The biscuits were barely cooked and the rest of the stuff was cooked in very old rancid oil. The meal had no seasoning and the wait was extremely long, over half an hour.

Great spot for really good grub. A compliment. The folks here hustle, when it is busy, they are really working. Excellent food, really good value.

The food is very good here and everyone is welcoming. I like eating here on the weekends once it slows down a bit. I will be coming back much more often in the future.

Unless you're a local you may never find this place... However,if you don't you'll be missing out on the best sausage gravy within a hundred miles!They're only open till 3 p.m. because it's basically a breakfast and lunch restaurant.But when it comes to old fashioned southern cooked breakfast the portions are large the food is absolutely fantastic the prices are very reasonable the service is fast friendly and fun...Honestly this is one restaurant I would give ten stars to if I could!!!

I have been here about 5 times, I had really bad experience! 3 out of 5 times didn't even get service. Initially, I thought it was because they were busy, but I noticed that it only happens to none white, other friends have had similar experience. One time some friends invited my wife and I for coffee, they covered the tab. But, they would not even let us out of the door, until they verify my tab was paid, did make that a big deal out of that. I really don't like play the racist victim game, but here is very obvious. My wife and son, visited the place too, the sat at the bar, for more than 20, they weren't even offered water!

I love Miss Kitty!! :) If you want some good country cooking, this is the place. Everything is fresh and always homemade. Big portions and food is outstanding!! :)
